Brand new this and need help

Brand new to all this, have picked up myself a Yamaha SY85 and SY77 and IMAC have managed to connect up the SY85 to the IMAC, Reaper can see the device and I can record notes to it from the SY85 - my question is, can I play back to the SY85 - so can Reaper drive the Synths ?

If so can you point me in the right direction as I must be doing something wrong

If you are already recording notes, you have the Record Arm set and the input correct. All you do now is tap the little button to the right of the input for 'Record Monitoring'.
