Default Docker tackes of half the screen

I have Reaper v6.03/64 on Windows 10.

When I reduce the size of the bottom docker, I find that the minimum size I am allowed still occupies nearly half the screen. Is this right?

I would like to increase the track size, but I am stopped by the large size of the docker.

Would appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Not sure if this is what you need but in Preferences > Appearance > Don't scale toolbar buttons.

Thanks for responding.

Actually, I am trying to reduce the size of the bottom Docker window. Can't find any preferences that deal with that.

Best,
Donna

SCreencap may be required here....or at least explain what is docked in the docker.

I think I have the answer. I have the Mixer in the bottom Docker. Apparently, Mixer has a minimum size and will not allow me to reduce the size below that.

I also have Fx in bottom Docker. When Mixer is closed, I can reduce Docker size to be much smaller.

Thanks for all your responses.

You have another option, which is to scale down the reaper display so the docker proportionately uses less space, might be worth a try

Prefs, General, Advanced UI/System tweaks, reduce Scale UI elements to, say, .9. If you don't like the result, just set it back to 1
