Cool Drum Effect - How?

Hey Gang,

I'm hoping someone here will be able to tell me how to create the effect heard on the drum fill in the Dirty Loops tune "Breakdown".

Hi. No expert but sounds to me like compression plus phasing?

Sounds like there is some flanging going on there. I believe there is a JS Flange plugin. Automate the mix of it because a little goes a long way.

There's also a lot of reverb and/or delay in there.

I'd try adding the flanger to a big reverb to see how that sounds.

(In case it wasn't clear, JS plugs are included with The Reaps. )
