Action List: Cursor lands at file end when inserting media

I knew this once but I've since forgotten.

When inserting a media file, how can I make the cursor land at the start and have the entire file visible on my screen - as opposed to being stretched out of sight?

Open Reaper Preferences.
Search for "move edit"
You will see "move edit cursor when pasting/inserting media"
Is that turned ON ?
If so, turn it OFF and see if it solves your issue.

Thanks vanhaze, but it's not there among the "Move Edit Cursor" choices.

I'm using v.5.40 x64 ... maybe it's called something else?
