Default Why won't this overlay work?

For some reason this overlay won't display correctly at all... It seems to shrink to almost a circle and also display one random pink dot in the upper left... I'm positive the pink lines are 255,0,255 though? At least Pixelmator says they are??

This is what shows up...

Why oh why oh why :'(

Your pink lines MUST be at the edge of the image, or Reaper won't even notice that they exist. Try cropping the image.

Got it! Thanks a ton WT! Overlay works now but it seems to draw a little fuzzier than it looks on my screen in Pixelmator...

Pixelmator mockup:

How it looks in Reaper:

Notice the right edge is noticeably thicker and the whole thing just looks fuzzier and uglier? Is this some sort of resolution issue on my end or something or is it just the way Reaper draws the images?

I like what I see here. Is this part of a new theme?

Sort of! I am working from RADO as a base and modifying it to be a little Nuendo 5-ish, hope to slowly replace pretty much everything but it is a lot of work, especially for someone like me who has no idea how to edit images!

Nice! I really like how Nuendo and Cubase look. I used Tallisman's ReaBendo Reaper theme way back when. The colors they use are very pleasing to my eyes for long-term use, especially at night when the lights may be dimmed.

Neither of them... that's how you tell when you've cocked-up your overlay hack I believe you'll find the problem is that the bottom x-axis pink line is 2 pixels too short.

I must be doing something horribly wrong here... Here is the image with the faux areas filled with ugly colors...

Do I have the spacing wrong maybe between the overlays? I left each purple ugly area an empty 1px border before the pink, which leaves 2px between each purple section since each one has a 1px border.

EDIT: GOT IT, screwed up the top left pink section this time :P Wow these little bastards are frustrating. So simple in principle but when you actually start to make them it rattles the brain...

Cheers thanks guy, I haven't completed much of it at all but here's what a session looks like as it stands...

Hopefully I finish it, I have a bad habit of starting themes and abandoning them when they are about 60% done, haha...
