Reaper OS X crash with Ticky Clav

Hi, I'm using an AUi plugin called Big Tick: Ticky Clav (available for free at http://bigtick.pastnotecut.org/index...de=120&lang=EN), on Reaper 2.51 with a little M-audio KeyRig 25 via USB. Just for the hell of it, I kept lowering the octave using the "octave" button on the KeyRig until it was at -4, and it crashed Reaper. When I re started, my registration info was gone. Just to make sure it wasn't something else, I tried it again, and it crashed Reaper again...

Why would pulling the octave so low crash the plugin?
