Default Recording a Skype call with Reaper

I'm not seeing anything recent on this in the boards, so curious if anyone knows how to set up so I can record a Skype audio call with Reaper. I presume it's in selecting the input device in Reaper Preferences > Audio > Device, but not sure if the default setting is correct.

I've tried selecting the various input options, and can't get any of the settings to record the skype person I'm talking to.

And also, is there a way to record myself and someone else on a Skype call onto different tracks?

Thanks
Doug

I remember on Audacity I use Wasapi driver or something similar to record all the internal system audio (like calls). I think you have obly to change driver I/O in the preferences page

You can do this by routing Skype's output to a virtual audio cable such as VB-CABLE from VB Audio.

Thanks, appreciate the input.

I also read about Soundflower, which is just an app install. Seems simpler.

or...you can simply route a real cable from the output of your pc to an input of your soundcard
