Default My midi editor sounds like Rice Krispies

Hello again

I've been mixing some drums out of Kontakt/Blasting Room and am up to about 20 tracks with maybe 10 or so Waves Scheps Omni plugins active across them.

When I go to edit a midi loop, the sound has a crackling delay on it and all keys on the piano react the same.

I had a look around older threads while I'm away from my PC and saw this:

Quote:
Enable "Disable media buffering for tracks with open MIDI editors"
Disable "Allow on tracks with open MIDI editors"

(Preferences/Audio/Buffering)
Could that be a solution?

I'd try enabling "Allow on tracks with open MIDI editors..." first, then unchecking "Disable media buffering...". Both will potentially decrease crackling but increase delay. Experiment!
