Mentioning use case examples would be not bad as well.

Simple but can be handy !
Mentioning one use case example would be useful for future readers.

@Daodan
Oops, I fixed the typo.

I am not aware about any special code which would need to be written to make sliders compatible with TCP knobs so I think this is out of my reach. Surely something else in REAPER.
Meanwhile, you should be able to offset with click and drag.
But sliders is slower than some other JSFX. Probably because of all the note off it sent. It is more meant to be a set and forget FX I think, I dont see what it the script could be optmized.

Anyway, have fun with it!

Default Update 1.2.2

Oh wow, there was a huge CPU hog in this octave transpose script

Just pushed another update to it, should be more usable now.

Yes, it's weird. It would be great if Justin or Schwa would explain what's going on.

Sure but you have to be very careful not to shift the value by more than one. I feel tension like I'm defusing a bomb

with an addition of score board that's basically a riddim game haha. real cool idea though, I am starting to think this could be used with conjunction with lfo on multiple tracks to create a feeling of a group of people trying to play in unison.
