Envelopes not working right...

Hi there,

Every time I try to record an envelope here (for volume, or others) - towards the end of the item, the envelope just stops. Flat out, just stops responding.

I even tested it out going crazy zig zagging the volume up and down (as the picture shows) but every time it reached that point - it just froze and stayed put. Like it was told to 'stop recording' automation all of a sudden.

What would cause this, and how do I fix it?
See the flatline in the end of that enveloped? That was incorrect - I was still moving the fader up and down constantly - yet it stopped 'recording' my automation - in that exact spot - every time.

It's like that for all automation - volume, pan, even VST fx parameters. What's causing Reaper to 'stop' recording my automation at that exact moment?

No idea why it would stop before the item end but is that the last item in the project? If so, what happens if you copy one far beyond that point and try it again?

No, it's not the last item. However, it seems that latch mode corrects this problem and it lets me automate until the end of the item.

Would there be any reason why "write" mode should limit my automation at a certain point like that?

Yup, just did it again. It's 100% not letting me reach the item's end in "Write" mode, but all other modes are working correctly. What should I do?
