Default Recording Audio from Korg Minilogue

Hi there,
I've just connected up a Korg Minilogue to my computer. I have installed the drivers, and have enabled the midi device in reaper preferences.

I am able to use the minilogue as a keyboard, to play VST synths, but I'm trying to get the audio from the minilogue coming through reaper when I play.

Is it possible with midi?

I currently have 2 USB's from the korg running into my computer. One is a standard USB connecter, the other is MIDI to USB, called UM-ONE in reaper devices and on the cable itself.

Also Im using a Roland Octa-Capture as my Audio Interface

Do I need an audio jack cable, and record audio instead of midi?

Thanks heaps.

No, audio & MIDI are different things.

Yes, you need to record the audio with a cable going to your interface. Not necessarily instead of MIDI though, you may want to record both audio & MIDI (which are separate things)
