Default Question for DEV's plz-or if YOU know

on the Main Toolbar there is a set of default action and icons
so if no customization has taken place those show up

and there is AFAIK no way to remove those from the Main Toolbar...

however I would like to remove them... is there some .ini or whatever that will allow that to be done????

Just don't show the main toolbar at all and instead another customized one?

Which buttons are you referring to? As far as I can tell, any of the buttons may be removed.

Before posting, I tried to delete all entries for the Main toolbar in 'Customize toolbar' and indeed the default buttons came back...

You can place there transparent icon that do nothing.

No, they come back.
Should have written this in present tense, rather than past tense, sorry.

Go to customization, remove all that buttons, right-click and Add separator. Save the toolbar.

thanks everyone

nofish has it right and sees what I see...

and yes, there is a workaround

set the ones we can't get rid of to a blank toolbar icon...
BUT... even though not visible with that, they are still active actions and can inadvertently be clk'd on... soooooo

What I did was put a zillion no-op action before them so that the defaults get shoved way to the far end of the toolbar... and that way if you keep the TB at a small size they are not where they might get clk'd on...

It is actually a good idea to put a real icon on the first default action so that you can see IF you need more no-ops before it...

It would be better IMO, IF we could simply remove the defaults like we can with any other action....

thanks again for looking into this with me

Adding a separator as I suggested, right?
It works here and no action is needed.
