Default Notation bug - Insert note at X doesn't obey voice (FIXED)

- select high or low voice for input
- perform action "Insert note at nearest X"

BUG - The inputed note is always in the default voice.

EXPECTED - The inputed note should be in the selected voice (as is when mouse-inputting.)

Kind of sidetrack and this should probably be a separate FR maybe, but I'd also like actions like "Add previous/next note with the same voice to selection (notation view)". I don't seem to be able to find them.

I use notation voices only for visuals, and channels for functional separation. I have it scripted so that channel 1 is mapped to voice 1 or default, channel 2 to voice 2 or default.

Voices on their own in their current form (default+top+bottom) are hardly usable https://forum.cockos.com/showthread....18#post2314118

Yeah, I have to agree about the design and naming of the voices. And the XML compatibility issue worries me, too.

I've been trying to do notation in REAPER instead of rewiring it to Sibelius. I might want to go back to the combo setup for now although it’s not exactly a pleasure to use.

me too, I mean for end scores I wouldn't consider reaper notation as it lacks of so many tools, but as a composition environment it can become very good, but need somes changes that other notation softwares already have very stable....
