Default Just replaced my computer ulnew to reaper. Audio interface not recognized

So I'm new to Reaper but not recording. The last 10 years I've been using Pro Tools Express but my computer crashed and I just replaced it and I just downloaded Reaper. I was able to get my interface working briefly. But I did not install my driver's first then plug in my interface. I was able to get my condenser mic working through my interface and recorded a few sounds. But once I close the program and reopened Reaper I tried a new audio track and I couldn't arm anything to record and it said the audio device driver not recognized. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Welcome to the Reaper forums!

What operating system are you using?
And what't the model name of the audio interface?

I would install the audio interface and driver in the order specified by the manufacturer. With Reaper closed. Then open Reaper and select / configure the audio device in the Preferences.

Oh sorry of course. My new computer is a HP. I7 processor 1 TB on the hard drive. Windows 10 which I'm getting used to I've never used it before. And my audio interface is an avid Mbox 3rd generation. I'm at work right now but as soon as I get home I'm going to uninstall the drivers unplug my Mbox. Reinstall the drivers restart the computer then plug my computer back in and see what happens. I was able to get it working for a short while then it just dropped out I'm sure I had something to do with the installation.
