I dunno. I just like using big words on a Sunday evening.

It's a jolly good song. Musically it sounds familiar but not stolen, if you know what I mean.

I spotted a bit of Cream/Santana, the Beatles (inevitably), Motown and something else I can't place.*

Nice!

Edit: The Move. It's The Move. Have a listen to Blackberry Way and Fire Brigade to hear where I'm coming from.

Blackberry Way

Fire Brigade

Thanks Dave. All the bands you mention are the kind of stuff that is embedded in my musical DNA. The song was just a bit of commentary on my part how werdz are now as powerful as sticks and stones, because we decided to give them that power.

I'm synced!

I had to install Win10Pro in a new VirtualBox (the previous one was in Mint) to use the Arturia MIDI Control Centre and Behringer Synthtribe to adjust settings in the DrumBrute Impact and Crave.

Grr! Grr! and thrice GRR!

There was a lot of popping and crackling going on so I fiddled with Reaper's buffering etc. too.

As far as I can tell everything is now working as it should with no unwanted Aphex Twin noises and without the sync drifting.

Things have been playing for about ten minutes with Reaper's metronome, the DBI's kick and a Monologue riff all hitting the same beats.

At the same time!

Reaper still disconnects everything when I go into the MIDI or Audio mapping but that's just an irritation and easily fixed by reloading the Carla patch.

Speaking of Carla, this is not where I really want it to plonk Reaper every time I have to do the above.

It's mucking with my Feng Shui.

You could always try Bitwig Demo and check out settings/synchronization and add a HW Instrument (native plug-in) to the track, and try straight ALSA first, you can chose and add what ever in & out in settings/audio, click Bitwig logo on top.
I think you could get an Ah-ha! or an Oh-Noes! within 15 minutes.

You realize that entire exchange, including with @Mcgiver69, was just humor, right?

It's a bit weird given previous interactions that always seem to be filled with zany humor (and many, many emojis). But, I honestly think SmajjL has left the building. Hopefully it's only temporary! I'm struggling to comprehend how they wouldn't know it was all a joke but such are the ambiguities of forum talk.

They seemed quite chipper.

I like chipper.

I hope they'll be back.
