I don't have a track label window and would like one

I don't know if it was ever there or if one of the tutorials I followed months ago had me remove it, but I want the text field next to the record arm button back--so where "notes reader, formatting, etc..." are in this: https://stash.reaper.fm/23534/notes_reader_0_6.gif

I've tried looking it up here and in the Reaper manual. Any help would be appreciated.

This isn't documented in the User Guide because it isn't a native REAPER feature but a third party script. I searched the forum and found this. There might be others.

Ah! I might have misunderstood you? Do you simply mean the track name? If so and using REAPER 6.xx with default theme, try Options, Layouts, Track panel, B

If using 5.xx it will be one of the layout options, from memory can't recall which.

totally off the wall here, but if you drag the bottom edge of the track in the tcp down does it then pop up?

Good point ... could be that track panel isn't big enough, in which case dragging edge of panel (mouse becomes double headede arrow) to the right would also fix it.
