Also, this +dev is performing a complete rescan of my plugins. The previous +dev was satisfied.

ARA!!!
Will test this extensively -- Melodyne has a terrible habit of losing edits in certain (almost impossible to pin down) conditions. Usually with undos, also with Razor Edit duplications and deletions... maybe lanes will play even nicer than items/splits did.

It shouldn't be a complete rescan, just those with a space or dash in their filenames (which may be a lot of plug-ins!).
(actually, as a side note, reverting this change and fixing some other stuff related).

Melodyne ARA2 :
This obviously can't be the intended behaviour, so just thought I'd share.
Seems like if a single slice of an item is made active, the entire thing is sent to Melodyne. Verified by choosing different slices across tracks, and they all stack in Melodyne.
The Play Markers should be sending the equivalent of Item Endpoints in the Splits/Items system, to Melodyne. Whatever is audible should be treated like the Active Take was in the old system...

Yes, lane play markers are not yet handled with ARA plugins. This build should handle soloing entire lanes correctly, though.

Devs this has been happening a lot in the last few pres. Something changed super recently, and I've noticed this happening. Apologies on not having the exact build number.
The view shouldn't be allowed to reposition itself during an Envelope Drawing event. Just by virtue of you interacting with the envelope under this current screen condition, it's a reasonable assumption that jolting the view is disruptive. Esp when drawing in precise envelopes.
Thank you just wanted to mention it while it's relevant.

^^ it seems that when the Time Loop extends past the edge of the screen, the view jolts to center it. It just shouldn't be doing this during any kind of item-drag, or Envelope Drawing, anything where you're actually interacting with stuff. like, when no hotkeys or interaction are happening it should freely center the view, but not otherwise.

Devs, can you take a look at this MIDI Editor bug/improvement? This will improve the feeling of writing MIDI in Reaper and it seems to be a reasonable fix.

Tried more of this and so far looks very handy! May I ask if it's possible to have another action to toggle play only the selected items?
Also would it be possible to have a left drag modifier for regions to drag and move them horizontally? It would be so useful since now we have to go to the bottom and select the start end markers to move a region which is not so nice and practical imo.
(also maybe to consider a modifier to move start/end play markers with items?)
