Can I have Melodyne 4 and 5 both installed?
I have a project I had yet to complete using Melodyne 4 and Reaper 4. In the interim I have updated to Reaper 5.9 and Melodyne Essential 5. When I open this old project, it can't find Melodyne 4. Can I not have Melodyne 4 in one project and Melodyne 5 in another, even if they are plugins in different versions of Reaper? I'm guessing Melodyne 5 may have overwrote v4 during installation? I'd like to finish this project in Melodyne v4 if possible. Reaper 4 doesn't seem to even see Melodyne 5.

No. Installing a Melodyne update replaces the previous version.

Okay. I was afraid of that. But I should be able to install Melodyne 5 in Reaper 4 to finish my project, no?

Hmm. Reaper 4 doesn't seem to be picking up Melodyne 4. Maybe I need to change the folders it searches for VSTs?

All is now well. Not sure why I didn't try this before, but I was able to save my old Reaper 4 project in Reaper 5 and then use Melodyne 5. Yes, I had to retune everything, but went pretty quickly. Now my song is able to be worked on in Reaper 5.
