Default Reaper is crashing while looping during midi editing or when pressing stop on device

Hey,

I recently started to use reaper and i kind of really like it.

Although i experience the following problems.

Midi editing issue:

- let reaper loop over a timespan
- edit a midi section within that region
- mostly when editing a note close to the time cursor (or how is the playmarker correctly called)
- sometimes reaper crashes with a segmentation fault

Stop playing:

- let reaper loop over a timespan
- press the stop button either on arturia keylab (mackie control) or beatstep (midi control)
- sometimes reaper crashes with a segmentation fault

I am using recent

- Arch Linux,
- Jack2
- USB audio interface
- vitalium
- geonkick
- reaeq

Does anybody experience similar issue? Any hints how to fix that?

Does this also happen without any Plugins?
If no, try removing the Plugins one by one and test if it still crashes.

I have stability issues with vitalium for instance.

Thanks for the advice. I will test it. It's a pitty that plugins can crash the DAW.

It turned out geonkick was crashing. After fixing the bug reaper runs stable.
