Default Change the look of the keys in the pianoroll

I can't seem to hit the right search words for a previous thread, but i see people having dark blue or more luxury looking piano keys in the midi editor. How did they do this?

If a theme is using png images it can include these image files:
  • piano_white_key.png
  • piano_white_key_sel.png
  • piano_black_key.png
  • piano_black_key_sel.png

If those files are omitted from the theme, then the Theme development/tweaker has four settings that describe the piano key colors.

Search in the tweaker for: MIDI piano key color

Thanks! I'm fine with the default reaper theme but i'd like to have those 3d looking piano keys. Petty, i know.. i'm distracted by the wrong things entirely.

Would you know how to go about that?
The reaper theme doesn't have a resource path, it seems that sits inside "Default_6.0.ReaperThemeZip".

Inside the Default_6.0.ReaperThemeZip file you will find a folder named Default_6.0_unpacked. Inside that folder, you will find the png files mentioned above.

You can edit those .png images with an image editor, or you can find some examples of those image files in other themes and replace the original images by copy-paste.

Follow the advice above.....by working on it a bit, you can get satisfactory results.
... the more vintage one, I didn't create it. The other two yes.
