Default Hackintosh and Midi drop out ?

Hi any hackintosh users that is experiencing midi drop outs? I have a few controllers that will lose connection during a session . This includes the stream deck bridged via IAC and also a Novatiom SLMKIii that loses tempo sync.

Are your USB ports mapped correctly? I have an SLMK111 and I do notice I have to have it switched on before I launch Reaper. Oddly it won't be recognised after reaper has started which doesn't happen in say Ableton.

I've found it useful to enable Sync for the SL's midi output port in Live. This sends start/stop messages from Live to the onboard sequencer. Then, you can use the INControl mode on the SL MKIII to start/stop Live's transport, and the onboard sequencer will react accordingly. This is great for session view, but not so create in arrangement view. This might not be what you want though.
