Default v6.0 - Multichannel tracks way too big

Hi there,

it seems that the tracks' width in the mixer view depends on the number of channels the tracks hold. Using Reaper mainly for Ambisonic projects, where most of the tracks have between 36 and 64 channels, the mixer view is more or less unusable, as only 5 tracks fit on one screen.

Changing the track layout doesn't help, still way too big.

Is there any way to make them smaller again, like it was in Reaper 5?

Best
Daniel

I suppose that you are using the v6 new theme ?

There is no problem with older ones that look in v6 like they were before.

Open the Theme Adjuster, go to the Mixer Control Panel screen, uncheck "Do meter expansion".

You should see it in the top half of the window, where all the checkboxes are.

Extend with sidebar
Narrow Form
DO METER EXPANSION
Element Labels

That said, I don't have a monitor that does higher than 1080p, and if you do, perhaps it doesn't show for those higher reses.
