Reaper, Lynx Hilo, ASIO4ALL w. Leapwing CenterOne - Buffer / Audio Issues
After much troubleshooting with Leapwing we found that their CenterOne plugin (any version) does not pass audio in Reaper using A. Lynx Hilo USB ASIO driver when the buffer is set to 'auto' and B. ASIO4ALL when any buffer below 512 samples is set. It DOES work fine / passes audio when a set buffer is selected in the Hilo driver (and it does not matter how low - unlike ASIO4ALL which cuts out under 512 samples). This happens with both the VST2 and VST3 versions of CenterOne - Leapwing plugins are only x64. It is exclusive to Reaper (at least against other DAWs I have for comparison on my machine) - other VST capable programs I have do not cause the audio outage despite ASIO settings - they work with the Hilo in 'auto' buffer and with ASIO4ALL buffers no matter how low. This was all under Windows 10 x64 Enterprise / Intel 3770k. Just thought to pass it along - took quite a bit of doing to get to the cause!
