Default New Reaper tune Grinder

Another tune all done with Reaper Recording then down to stems and a near and basic mixing finish.
All happiness.
And a great Christmas (feelings for the end of the year!)

Nice and thanks...

So you must a compatriot of Runaway, the developer of AATranslator?

I don't know the landscape where you live at all but he is there somewhere.

Passed through Ross a couple of years ago. Lovely country. Runaway may visit this thread soon. Great bloke, we've managed to get together a few times.

I must admit to only having ever visited the north island and that was a very long time ago - I think the main thing that sticks in my memory was the fact that you took your glasses back to the bar and rather than give you new ones they refilled the same ones and also that you ordered your beer by the colour of the labels.
Maybe I was past functioning coherently at the time but sometimes it is the little things that stay with you....

@alanofoz: We had a brief bout of fires recently up the mountains which caused me to think that it must be around a year since we last hooked up - where does the time go?

@nicholas: Been to Hobart a few times in the past - I remember freezing my kahoonas off on the top of Mt Wellington but there were quite a few pubs with some nice warm fires too LOL

@hopi: if you don't have an atlas there is always Google maps

@grinder: I too have heard there are some bright people over here and I've even met someone who had lived across the road from someone who knew someone who had apparently met one

Now where else would you get a forum in the world where people felt they could express a sense of humour eh!
I had a good chuckle over those comments Runaway.
Those fires are tough stuff over your way.
Don't worry we will have them here one day we seem to be intent on changing our forest cover to that of other countries.

It's over a year now. I still remember the huge pall of smoke we could see from your front yard - scary! We know a few people who lost their homes that day.

In the meantime we've spent 3 months travelling mostly in the UK, a bit of travelling in Oz - e.g. just arrived home yesterday from the Barossa Valley. We've also settled Mum into aged care. No time at all for Reaper etc.

Not easy when you have folk with Dementia if you kin has that.
My partner had two down to one and closing.
The fires in Aus I would not desire must be heartbreaking and devastating.

Much scarier for you I'm sure given it was so close to your house!

Hopefully you picked up a few choice wines in the Barossa to assist in settling the nerves

@grinder: Not dementia fortunately, just 92 & very frail.

@Runaway: Although we had fires to the east, west & north, none got too close. Might have been different with a change of wind. The RFS volunteers were magnificent.

Yep, the car was weighted down with an assortment of wines from several wineries. The cellar looks much better.
