Assuming you mean what I THINK you mean, any bridged plugins you are using will do this.
64bit in Reaper 32bit or 32bit in Reaper 64bit HAVE to be bridged..

If it's a bridged Plugin problem, try this:
right click in the fx browser window on the plugin, and, in the "run as" sub menu, try selecting the "embed UI" option.

All these years and I didn't know this option existed >.>
Is there an option to make this default for all bridged plugins?

Don't think there is an overall option.

I don't know.... but what you could do is (assuming 32bit plug-ins in 64bit REAPER) is type x86 in the filter, select the lot, and get 'em all at once.

Someone else suggested that in a recent (possibly concurrent ) thread and yes it works.

I thought of that a few seconds after posting that.(it works)
Think before you post and all that, but I was too shocked to think when I first saw this^^.
An option would still be nice for when you add new 32-bit plugins, but I guess every developer is/should be moving to 64 bit anyways (except for VoS plugins maybe^^), so it is probably not worth the effort at this point.

Now what'ive done is the selected all my plugins with shift + a and then set "run as embed UI" and for any new plugin I set this option

I think it is, actually. I have favourite 32 bit VSTs which aren't supported any more, which follow me from system to system. not everything is replaceable (or ever will be).

But if you copy both your REAPER program folder, as well as the one in AppData\Roaming when changing systems, it should work the same as it did on your old system right? (selecting 'embed UI[...]' just changes a single .INI file right?)

If that is the case I don't think you really need a seperate option that does this automatically, because you don't add new 32-bit plugins this often these days. If 32-bit was still the standard, and you would have to do this for pretty much every new plugin you add, it would be significantly more annoying.

I agree on the importance of (partly unsupported) 32-bit plugins, but I don't see any danger unless at some point the 32-bit bridge gets dropped. (Which would go completely against the 'backwards-compatibility-ideal' of REAPER)
