Default ridiculously basic questions

Hi--
First off, I'm really excited about Ninjam--I've been looking for something like this for a long time.

Okay, so I logged onto the public server and played some guitar, just a test drive. Now, how do I play back what was recorded?

Secondly, the Ninjam intro page shows screen shots of two client interfaces. One looks like mine, v.06. The other is labeled "Ninjam console" and looks much slicker. Where do I find that?

Lastly, I downloaded the server client, but when I click on the "server.exe" icon, nothing seems to happen. Can you guide me on this--what am I supposed to see?

Thanks for bearing with me on this...

You can set the recording options in the preferences.
The other client you speak of is the Mac OS X client, which does look prettier (in some peoples opinions).

Regarding running the server, go to a command prompt, and then run the client that way, with the name of a configuration file on the command line.

So there is no "playback" console? I thought Ninjam included some sort of console for mixing all the tracks after the jam session?

Also, when I launch a server, with the intention of having friends join me in a session, how do they find my server and log onto it?

Again, thanks for answering these newbie questions...
