Default Imperial Theme with extra colored faders

In another thread the subject was brought up about how anyone uses coloring for tracks for mixing.
In that thread I had mentioned and showed a screenshot of some extra colored faders that I have added to White Tie's Imperial theme.
There was a little bit of interest for me to upload my MOD for others to use. I did post a link to download my MOD in that thread. But thought I would go ahead and start a new thread so anyone who may be interested in this can check it out.

First of all:
The theme is still 100% White Tie's creation. The ONLY thing I have done is add extra colored faders for the MCP and TCP. I prefer the fader on the TCP over the default. Also I do NOT use the blackface. So I only made the colored faders for the default gray mixer panel.

Second:
I must give credit elsewhere too. I like to use separator tracks. Instead of programming my own I have used the separator tracks programmed by Reno.thestraws.

I did not add his other layouts for I do not need them along with the ones that I use. I had said in the other thread that I used his whole MOD but I was incorrect and apologize for the mistake.

If anyone is intested in Reno.thestraws extra layouts MOD for Imperial here is the link to his thread which shows screenshots of his layouts and explains in more detail what his MOD is all about.

Here are screenshots showing my colored faders.
And here is the link for download.

EDIT: I had a friend ask me to go ahead and make the colored faders for the blackface mixer panels. So now those are included in this MOD.
For anyone who has all ready download the file, if you want these new layouts, please download the file again.
Here is a screenshot of the blackface colored faders.
I see my track names get lost in the colors I have chosen. If I ever start using these I guess it would be fairly easy to change the track name font color?????

Far out. I wondered how you did that in the other thread.

Merci.

This looks great.

How hard would it be to create something like this?

I did it by turning in "Tint Track Channel Backgrounds" but it makes the TCP look awful.

Yeah... It is difficult to get the tinted panels to look good with colors. I think it has to do with the color being overlayed on top of the colors of the panel itsself. When you mix those two together it gets very difficult to get the true color you really want. That's why I usually stay away from tinting the entire panel.
It would probably be possible to modify the png's for the panels themselves the same way I modified the color hue for the faders. But getting things masked off properly to change the right things in the right way for me could be rather difficult. That is a task I don't think I'll be able to accomplish.

The blackface panels take the tint a lot better than the gray.

In the mix I use the "strip-yellow fader" for folder tracks.
for buss tracks and send buttons colors (red, blue, green, black) would be useful as variants of "strip-yellow fader"

A thin separator layout would also util.

I have no knowledge of programming in Walter, I do not know how these changes.

If you find this a good idea and can realize, I would be grateful.

Sorry for my bad English.

There all ready is a separator layout in this MOD. That is the layout that is originally from the MOD by Reno.thestraw

I'll try to look into making the strip layouts with the other color faders.
I can't promise anything tho for my spare time here lately is very limited.

Default Imperial extra color

I tried to download, but could not. The post says in the Box: This shared file or folder link has been removed. I would love to get this feature. Thanks.

??That is rather odd for I have not done anything with the file since I uploaded it???
Try this link here to see if it takes you to the file.
https://app.box.com/s/3972cc271b21c6ad98b8

I tried the link and it works for me but then it's my file under my account so hopefully it still works for everybody.

Let me know if it does not work and I'll see what else I can do.

Found it doing strange things to standard track/wav side. Also wouldn't change the fader colors. Still blue. Hmmm

??? I really am not much of a theme guru to know what may be happening ??? The whole theme is honestly 100% original 'Imperial' by White Tie. All I did was add the colored faders for the layouts.

Check to make sure in the options that the theme is using the correct folder for resources. Other than that maybe someone else might be able to give some input.
