Default JS: Audio Statistics slows down on MBP M1

Reaper:x86 v6.19/OSX64 rev 80a557 (Dec 18 2020)
MacBook Pro: Big Sur v11.1
Chip: M1

I'm following the suggestion on the Reaper download page,"For maximum Intel plug-in compatibility, users with M1-powered Macs should use the Intel (10.15+) version rather than the native ARM64 beta version."

All of my effects in my chain are working as expected. However, I use JS:Audio Statistics at the end of the chain to get a final read out of the RMS total loudness of my recording. Unfortunately, the JS: Audio Statistics plug-in is stuttering the playback. I can only imaging that this is because of the Rosetta 2 software that's interpreting the version of Reaper I'm running.

I realize I can use Steven Jay Cohen's 2nd Opinion to also do this, yet I find getting the statistics as I'm rendering to be more valuable.

Any suggestions on fixes for the JS: Audio Statistics plug-in?

Thanks!

JS-Effects (all of them) perform very bad on the Rosetta 2 emulation. Render speed is reduced from 55x realtime to 2x realtime (!) so you'll want to use the native ARM App of REAPER, SWS extension etc. IF your specific FX-Chain is supported.

I guess since they are compiled on the fly Rosetta 2 doesn't have time to optimize them and then interprets them?
