Default Negative MIDI delay plugin

Is there a MIDI delay plugin for Reaper? The JS Delay Adjustment doesn't work for me, since I'm using guitar libraries which need a 20-30 ms MIDI delay for chord detection.

MASSIVE +1

This is MASSIVELY missing from Reaper. And this really should be a native solution... and not an insert or plugin.

In Cubase, Nuendo, Logic etc., each track has a delay setting that can be positive or negative (for modern library latency compensation -- Legato, etc.). It is important that the MIDI be negatively delayed as opposed to the audio output of the VSTi, this is because the latter makes it impossible to play in real-time. With a negative MIDI delay however, if set to negative, there would be no change on recording parts, only on playback of the MIDI (this is intentional) -- for how can you negatively delay something played in real-time?!

Cheers,

Andrew K

negative MIDI delay would be an important feature in my opinion.

Evidently, Heda has had a similar experience with the plug, according to the above post. I suppose that with these kind of operations PDC must be somewhat difficult to manage...

D'oh! I had high hopes for this one. Maybe we should file a feature request for this?

Thanks J Reverb, but I'm on Mac... so unfortunately for me, those Microsoft .dlls won't help me.

This really should be native to Reaper.

Yeah... I think there should be a new FR thread or revive an old one.

I think PDC is updated only after you restart transport, it's not a realtime operation.
