Default Im missing something/Genuine Question

Why are track inputs not listed under track I/O button?
I've been googling and searching forums for an hour.

Track input is listed in the TCP underneath the track name. There is a drop down menu to select source.

Default Thank You

It's confusing to me .
I think of I/O as input/output.
Oh well, moving on.

You are not incorrect. In this case I/O refers to receives (input) from other tracks and sends (output) to other tracks for effects routing etc.

You make a good point.
Depending on the theme that input selection might not be there, or it only appears when the track is armed.

I usually right-click on the track meter to choose the inputs.

The Routing matrix is a great way to assign many inputs quickly.
