Default Optimal bass isolation settings

Hi guys.

Just fiddling around with the EQ on here and I make sample based beats so duplicate my final mix and then make one track the low end only and the other one just has the sample with no bass.

Am used to using presets to do it for me but yeah gonna' have to start learning how to do it myself.

I got the low end sounding pretty nice now on its own but yeah what settings would you guys use on this.

I'm using the low pass filer in realEQ and got the bandwith on 3.42.

Also how do I hard limit something? Checked dynamics but its not in there.

Take a look at the second post in this thread, and see if the process makes sense to you. Past that post #14 is also along the lines of what you mentioned. -
