What a legend. The same line-up for 50 years. No big break-ups. Just kept rocking along year after year. And I don't know what it is, but it never ever felt like a "nostalgia" act of old men up there. It was just ZZ Top.

Well said. As Frank Beard once commented, it's been "the same three guys playing the same three chords" for over 50 years. End of an era. RIP.

I was 14 years old when Tres Hombres hit the radio. I thought La Grange was amazing. It caught my attention like few songs have. I was never a big fan of their "techno" phase, but their early blues/rock was great. Rest in peace, brother!
