Default using cakewalk Project 5 in Reaper

Years ago I had reaper on my older computer running Windows xp, I also had Project 5 and I was able to use the virtual instruments from Project 5 in Reaper no problem. I had to upgrade computers and to window 7, and I cant get reaper to recognize Project 5 at all. It recognizes my other virtual instruments but not that one. I tried scanning and auto detect but cant get it. Any ideas on what I'm missing?

Just to clarify:

- Is Project 5 installed on the new computer?
- Is the folder where the Project 5 plugin is located added in the Plugin Path in Reaper's Preferences?

Yes, it's installed and I tried scanning and re scanning. Does the rewire function have anything to do with?

I don't think that this should affect the plugin scan ...

Maybe try doing a fresh portable Reaper install to a separate folder and see if it's the same there: http://reaperblog.net/2015/07/reaper...nstall-option/
