Locking to Active Take so that the Switch item to next/prev take have no effect

Hi all,

Is there a way I can fully lock the currently active take on an item.

At the moment it seems like the

Item|Take|Lock to active take

option only prevents switching takes when clicking on the item. It does not prevent the takes from being switched using the following actions:

Item: Switch items to next take
Item: Switch items to previous take
(which I have assigned to keyboard shortcuts and is my normal modus operandi when comping and comparing takes)

I'd be handy to prevent accidental and unintended changing of a comp, especially when item grouping is active.

I know I can save a series of comps but it would be nice to fully lock the currently selected take on an item.

Any ideas?
