I'm probably gonna buy a couple amps from kuassa.

I've been eyeing the Cerberus bass amp and the "orange"amp for a while now.

We were supposed to have our new reverb up, but missed the deadline

There's a beta for everyone to try. https://www.dropbox.com/s/v7nq8046oh...0.0.1.zip?dl=0

I'm sure we'll have some stuff for sale, but I'm a shit businessman and I was really hoping to get that reverb up for sale by black friday, so I'm a bit obsessed

Waves has a freebie for today only - a lo-fi thing you can leave your email for and the link will be sent in 4 hours or so.

I'll second the SoundToys one - and if you have SoundToys stuff already the everything bundle is cheaper for you now too if you visit their website and log in with your credentials.

Adam Steel of Hop Pole Studios has a vid up with some things that are interesting... https://youtu.be/PshMGiFLtfQ

But overall I'm abstaining, except for the impulse buy yesterday of Waves new SSL EV2 - it will work on a vintage-sounding project I'm doing.

Good hunting!

Picked up Bias FX2. This is something I always wanted but couldn't pull the trigger to purchase it. At 60 percent off I couldn't resist.

Default RME

I wanted to buy an Octamic XTC but it's sold out and most likely out of production.
And I want to buy a Babyface Pro FS for my niece, but it is nowhere available, out of stock without any delivery estimation.
Thanks BlackFriday for nothing

Default Addictive Drums and Monogram

I did buy Addictive Drums 2 at 50% off for 6 AD Paks...

Also was tempted ny the Monogram as an expression controller....they are 25% off...

Mind you even at 25% still can't quite justify it at the moment...when all I'm really after is some additional sliders...so $420 Australian + postage...for 3 sliders...

Think I might try and find a cheaper solution...as that money might be better put towards a full keyboard like the Arturia 88...with sliders on board!

Default Waves

Just got an email from Waves, since I just bought the CLA compressors bundle, I got a link

"Refer a Friend & Get Rewards!

Give your friends, website visitors or blog readers a 10% off coupon and earn 10% of their next order in credit towards software purchase at Waves."

https://www.waves.com/r/u8cra5

Give it a try - I think it'll work for the rest of today - works in addition to other codes you might have, I think.

Default LV2 plugins

The x42 plugins come in the LV2 plugin format. This plugin format has been
added to REAPER some time ago and works properly.

Just run the installer for the x42 meters. The installer places the LV2 plugins
into the LV2 folder. Under Windows, the default LV2 plugin path is
c:\Program Files\Common Files\LV2.

Notice that each LV2 plugin consist of a folder named [plugin-name.lv2].
Check the attached screenshot. The x42 meters are stored in [meters.lv2].

The installer also offers you to install JACK. You do not need JACK if you want
to use the meters in REAPER, so you can uncheck this option.

Finally, make sure that the LV2 plugin folder is found by REAPER.
Click [Options] > [Preferences] > [Plugins] > [LV2] and check the
LV2 search path.

By default, the REAPER'S LV2 search path is set to
%COMMONPROGRAMFILES%\LV2;%APPDATA%\LV2

This includes the default LV2 plugin path that I mentioned above.

Thank you do you mean I DON'T need jack so can uncheck that option?

edit: yes that's what you meant

I've installed these plugins now and they work perfectly. A really great set of meters for $29

Kudos to Reaper for being open to Lv2 plugs.

Hello M, yes, I meant to say you do *not* need JACK to use the plugins in REAPER.
I have corrected my earlier post to prevent further confusion. Henry.

Henry,

Could you tell me if you're having the same problem with these Lv2 plugins as me?

They basically don't remember their screen position and always open top left on top of each other.

Hello Marcus,

yes, same problem here. All meter variants open at the same position, the upper left corner
of the screen. They do not remember any previous position. This behavior is not related to
REAPER because it also happens in Ardour and in Harrison Mixbus.

It is a bit annoying, be I think we can live with it.

Henry,

Thanks perhaps I'll send a message over to the devs and let them know

I've also had a couple of crashes that were down to the monitor FX chain I have and I was wondering if it was theses plugins.

Have you had any issues?
