So is Reaper closed?
And if you check in Task Manager, there isn't a background Reaper still running?
I think if you Rearoute it's a bit like Rewire, in that you start the host first (Reaper), and close it last. Otherwise the application can live on in the background.
You could also reinstall Reaper without checking the Rearoute box...and maybe delete the rearoute dll...I can't see how it could take over if it's not on board anymore.
