Default Backing Tracks for live gigs

Hi all

I have been scouring the Net for the best makers of pro backing tracks, where they provide multitrack versions, so the user can add or subtract individual instruments.

So far Paris Music have been the only company I have found that do this, but many of the songs I want are unavailable through them!

Anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks

Hi!

Try these guys. You buy the track and you can mix, mute, etc anytime you like.

Here is a link to a song in the editing interface.

Those Paris Music ones sound dire and way overpriced.

The sample versao one sounds good and looks easy to mix, plus at £1.99 a track its cheap.

I used to do MIDI only backing traks years ago and was getting a fiver a track for one offs, so the price is indeed pretty good.

I use these guys and have found you need to be careful. Some songs are obvious new recordings , not the original and done very well, others sound like typical karaoke where the vocals are electronically removed, and others sound like a mix of the 2, remove the vocal electronically then try to fill in some other instruments to make up for what the electronics removed. The good ones are really good though. Anyone who has tens of thousands of songs to choose from did not re-record all of them as new professional backing tracks.

Another excellent option is Jam Tracks by JamKazam (a really good online jamming platform). Here's some relevant stuff.

Here's a trio (SupermassiveMomemtum) that have never met. They live in Denver (was Baltimore, I think), San Francisco and Vancouver, BC, and started over JamKazam.
