Default Question about a couple new theming features.

Q1.

WALTER: layout_dpi_translate*.* -- There are a number of items bearing this
layout_dpi_translate prefix such as for the transport, envcp, etc.
I take it these are notation for the layout groups that have thus far
been implimented for the following:

WALTER: add support for rtconfig layout_dpi_translate 'source layout' dpi_scale 'destination layout', to be implemented

So, how does all of this work?
------------------------------

Q2.

Theming: add [track|mcp]_recarm_[auto_]norec images

Any info?
------------------------------

Q3.

Theming: add new HSV blend mode with bugfixes, old behavior is now deprecated HSV adjust blend mode

Can someone explain?
------------------------------

These are my current questions. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

I can only answer to your two last ones, Never, as I'm unable to test the implementation of the dpi_translate related stuff (no adequate gear for this) :

Q2 : the _norec images appear when a track is record armed but, after right clicking the tcp/mcp.recarm control, the selected option is record:disable (input monitoring only). It allows, when the track is selected to see a different shape/color of this control, indicating that nothing will be recorded, even if record is launched in the transport bar.

Q3 : there is an added HSV blend mode that is supposed to be debugged for all (I think...) Theme development/tweaker window settings for which the fill/blend mode can be adjusted (things like some media items aspects, time selection, marquee...), the previous one being marked as deprecated. Can't really tell you the actual improvement that this added option brings, as I seldom used the blend mode in my themes.

Hi Never,

Have you seen the new capabilities of the v6 alpha theme in the pre-release forum?

Q2. Yes, the ‘norec’ images are for monitoring without recording...

I’m just back from vacation so I haven’t even downloaded it yet but the scripting is interesting and the scaling options.
