But what about sending an fx to a folder track? I made a quick test (tracks to 2 folders and 1 reverb send) and seems the issue is gone. But I didn't try this in a real mix so unsure what can go wrong.

Stealth sends solved this problem for me. I just finished an album from scratch with dozens and dozens of tracks and tons of effects and the script I wrote made working with Reaper a real treat. I really can't think of a simpler way to do it and it literally takes a second or two each time I need to implement. It totally let me stay in the creative zone and get out of the computer operator zone.
Yeah I have no idea how to implement that as I'm a newb to Reaper
Do you know how to load scripts yet? If you go in YouTube and Google Reaper load Lua Scripts I'm sure you can find something to show you how to load the script. There's also a video on actions if you don't know how actions are in Reaper.
