Thanks for the explanation, I figured so, I can get higher latency without it showing in the latency numbers when I choose lower dsp buffer on a busy project, strange thing is that it can occur after a while of working nicely, without crackles in both cases, my guess due to the drivers/hardware not capable of providing what they are asked to depending on how big the project is.
