Default Show tracks by color (or some kind of group)

Hi, I have an idea where I want to organize a project and
set all drums to 1st group
all vox to 2nd group
etc
and then I wanna use a shortcut that will show only the group of tracks I want.

I don't see how I can group track without assigning some track parameters of them.
I don't see an action group by color (which is another way of doing it)
and so on.
How can I make it happen? Thank You

Not quite what you wanted, but my script "Show only specified tracks" on ReaPack might get you there; it lets you filter them by name and choose whether to show children, siblings, etc.

Thanks..but yes, it is not quite what I want....
also there's a script called
Edit Group Management Utility_amagalma
which is more like it or even what is needed
but it seems like it doesn't work properly with mixer window on....

Hi, you can check heda track inspector's "tags". Scroll down and look at Track Tags section - https://reaper.hector-corcin.com/doc...rack-inspector

That is exactly what you can do with "track-views".
Do a search in the manual for "track-views".

You can also color your tracks (Shows both in the TCP and MCP)to help you in your grouping. Watch Kenny's videos, he has one showing how you can do this.
