Default .MOV as .wav from DaVinci Resolve

I am editing my first videos using DaVinci Resolve and willing to audio mix with Reaper.
From the Edit Timeline, I exported a .fcpxml (version 1.5) and imported using Vordio.
The audio is a mix of audio camera and external audio.
Once opened in Reaper, the audio camera is OFFLINE, being recognised as video .mov.
Is there a way to tell Reaper to use or ingest the audio of the specific videos?
Otherwise, is there a workaround to get that audio in my Reaper timeline?

Looks like Vordio didn't convert that stuff.

Any special format in the original video ? Perhaps the whole deal needs to be converted first to something like ProRes 444 / WAV audio for example. My experience here is very limited however, so this is just an idea I'd explore if in a similar situation.

Normally you would export the XML from the Deliver page in Resolve, using the Final Cut Pro X settings. You choose which codec and resolution you want to export, and make sure you look at the Audio tab in the Render page to be sure your audio will be included in the XML. You would render the entire timeline (not individual source clips) and add to the render queue, then render.

I've never tried importing XML into Reaper, as I do my audio work beforehand in other DAWs or directly in Fairlight within Resolve, so don't have any insights on problems with import unfortunately.
