Is It Possible That The NinJam Client Can't Connect To IPv6?

i've set up a server on my local pc. I can connect via LAN, but not publicly via my IP-ADDRESS (my router is new and does not suppport ipv4 anymore)
the ports are open. yet, the client refuses to connect. I have the impression that the client does not really "try". the error "can't connect to host" pops up immediately as I hit enter...this just happens too fast to be a real failed connection try imho.

any ideas?

Hmm, I don't think that ninjam server/client supports IP6

Anyone?
