Routing Matrix

Hi,

I would like to understand why in Routing Matrix, stereo tracks are shown as mono tracks .... In the image below, you see what I don't understand... I send the "Master Parent" outs (STEREO) out through the System Playback ports.... 1+2 because "Master Parent" is a stereo out...

BUT why in the MATRIX do I see the stereo outputs columns same as the mono outputs columns?

I expected to see:

1 + 2 (STEREO)
3 + 4 (STEREO)
5 + 6 (STEREO)
...
1 (MONO)
2 (MONO)
3 (MONO)
4 (MONO)
5 (MONO)
6 (MONO)
...

WHERE AM I LOST?
