Folders in FX chains
Seems pretty crazy that they haven't put folders in the fx chains yet. For example, they would be useful if we wanted to have several 'possible' compressors disabled but inside a folder or to use several fx in parallel. It doesn't seem like a difficult thing to implement for a daw like Reaper that has so many cool features.

Hi Punchipum,
I started a FR thread about this the other day, with a lonely little poll: https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=275558
There are a few similar requests too, but this one's more straighforward.

Do you mean when you have already loaded the fx into your track, you want folders for them ? How would you handle the signal routing if that is your desire ?

To my understanding, they work the way they already do.
The folders are more a gui-thing, that you can collect multiple ones and show/collapse them.
And bypass/offline all in the folder at once.
That would be neat to have.

it seems crazy that the fx window looks the way it is right now after 14 years I'm using it.
folders are needed indeed and there is no doubt I will use it.
even though I prefer that they will invest a bit more time to make full overall to the fx window/system and its routings instead of wasting time with plasters. (unless it is part of the process)
