MOTHER FUDGE IN THE FREEZER! Can I be a stubborn child and say I WANT IT NOW NOW NOW!
Those rubbery feel knobs are sexually contrasting. Can we haz faders matching the rubbery gooey feel? It looks like darker version knobs from my Access Virus.
Are we there yet? :P

- Anything that has been edited should be clearly visible

If you take a look at Logic, Protools or even Sonar X, they all respect these basic rules of "survival" for the user

I agree with this 100%.

thought the same, for me the black knobs seem to integrate better in the tcp section.

I agree with XarquS, I felt the same about the Imperial transport altough it's a very nice theme, I believe this theme would gain from having its own.
Any input FX on TCP and MCP layouts coming up ??...Please...please?!
Just a little Dot...very small...anything...visible when turned on....like on Apollo4...

ya, i think a more kind of black knob look, like the buttons on the left in transport style might be nicer on the bigger buttons.

This is a very beautiful theme, Albert. I like the new knobs. Like many others, it seems, I don't think the Imperial transport makes sense here. It simply doesn't fit your theme.

thanks to all .... Sorry I can not satisfy everyone, it is impossible, try to do the most varied possible.
reason to put screenshots is to fix things on which you agree most people ... sometimes because it helps
working on the mixer and layouts

Albert - we bow to your decisions as always.
Don't let our whining take you off track.
And yes a very nice looking theme so far. Fortunately your taste and mine seems to coincide

Looking great, albert! Are you planning on making your own transport for this? I'm hoping you do...

The updates are an improvement for sure.. but, it's too good of a theme not to have its own matching transport...
of course u can add that after beta release

WoW Albert this is very nice!
I think that now, the white area on the mixer should become grey like the rest.
This will make the theme more uniform.
If you look at Logic, they use very few contrasts of gray, that is how the interface looks so unified and simple.
I like the moogish knobs, but they kind of make me blind as they shine.
Can't wait to beta test, but take your time, the amount of work is big.

Better mention this now.
Automation status of a track is important to those folks who use automation modes.
These indicators don't require any elaborate buttons, just colour and a reasonably easy to read text perhaps. The automation status of a track ranks right up there with the arming indicator. It is as important to mixers as the arming status is to tracking engineers.
I wouldn't want to complain afterwards.
The theme is shaping up very well IMHO. Looks like taking your time is paying off.

You mean the light grey area in the mixer track panels that gives some relief from the overall darkness of it all?

Yes, I find that in this theme, the luminosity/contrasts seem working better when the background is dark.
A theme can be dark or light, but not both (or with different layouts).
Now that it has become darker, the lighter areas should become dark too, to have a consistent level of luminosity.

albert, congrats! this is your best theme ever!
only one thing, for me: the text font on "gain", "insert", "fx", "mute", "solo", etc it´s not compatible with the rest of the fonts (also the imperial font on transport). it will be great to equilibrate this two styles of fonts (or one or another). if you could do that, it´s for me the best theme ever.

so, what, my soundcard would post some some name of itself there as well?
idk, i don't see the value of that, seems like just clutter and a waste of space.
what does this AI do? and why would i want that box on my theme?

I think most of them were in conspiracy theory threads in the lounge.
I'm so glad they stuck the lounge behind the curtains so I'm not tempted to go back there again.

On the contrary, those were some of my favorite parts of the theme Albert's done a great job so far. Let see how he wraps the whole thing up.

And shut up - my island is bigger than YOUR island and can beat yours with one arm tied behind its back.

Excellent, Tyler!
I get so sick of people from New Jersey (with accent) and other USA areas claiming to be 'Italian'or 'German' or 'British'
After ten or twelve years living in the USA, it became a pet hate of mine.
At the time it seemed like NOBODY wanted to own up to being....AMERICAN!
My Mums side of the family brought me an Australian born and raised grandad married to an English girl when he settled in the UK after WW1.
He was the machine gunner in a motorcycle and sidecar and went all through Anzio and Gallipoli with the Anzacs.
Other side of the family is true blue blood English Upper Middle to Upper Class (including a life peer, Sir Rock Carling) through and through.
And both my wives have been complete mongrels. First one was the daughter of a Glaswegian and an English girl from East Anglia, Second came to me via an Irish dad from Sligo and a West Country Moonraker girl from Stroud in Gloucestershire.
And now we have a daughter born in Tennessee to complete the mix!
I love the concept of "pure bloodlines", me...
Did I mention wife 2 is the daughter of a Chief Tech in the RAF and her eldest brother was a Warrant Officer RAF?
Hm. This is looking a bit off topic, but we ARE in the lounge, arent we? Arent we?????

I see. seems like a waste of space to me. idk if that could be useful to other people, but i always know what audio interface i'm using.
or, if it shows whether i'm using midi of it, or which input on it, maybe that might be useful sort of, but for my workflow, not.
yes really. how many of the things i know that you don't know should i treat you as an idiot for?

Isn't that the track input indicator? Seems pretty damn important to me. Of course one should rename them by giving them aliases in preferences. Simple Liquid 1 would make more "sense" but whatever works, right?
