Default Stems/preparation/mixing

Hi
At long last I have realized I need to mix differently for streaming
than for a lounge stereo.
Okay I am slow!
In order to mix for streaming I have decided I would like to
start another "Project" with stem files from the original large mix.
This said I wondered
Am I better creating stems with the lounge stereo mix FX which I have already done or am would I be better leaving the FX off the Stems?

Many thanks

Tough call without more info.

If the plugins are compressor/limiter/clippers that push the level to -5 LUFS or something, I'd not use those for a streaming file...

Why? Streaming should be taken into account but one mix should translate sufficiently on everything. Nothing has really changed here other than you may want to target dynamic range for streaming services but since they are reasonable targets to begin with, they'll still work sufficiently on all other formats/mediums.

IOW, I didn't need to change how I mix when streaming services came to be.
