I believe you can use the set trans.bpm.tap.margin statement.

  • Copy the theme.
  • Rename the theme extension from *.ReaperThemeZip to *.zip
  • Extract the *.zip
  • Find a file : rtconfig.txt
  • Open rtconfig.txt in text editor.
  • Find and edit the line set trans.bpm.tap.margin
  • Play around with number that might fix your problem.

When you’re done editing, do it in reverse. Compress the theme with the edited WALTER, rename the *.zip to *.ReaperThemeZip.
