Anyone using WAVES Tune Real-Time plugin? I need help please.....
I am putting this plugin on a vocal track.....
I have a song that is in the key of C#m.
I am not looking for information or explanation of music theory.
I can clearly see the setting for KEY which in this case is C.
It also clearly has the choice to engage the #.
All I want to know is, since there are so many choices for SCALE for this plugin, which one should I use?
Right now the scale says 'Chromatic'.
But, there is choices for:
Natural Minor
Harmonic Minor
Melodic Minor (Ascending)
Melodic Minor (Ascending Descending)
Minor Justonic
plus a whole bunch of other settings for minor scale...
So, should I leave the scale at chromatic, or is there another setting for scale I should be picking?
.

Pick whichever one lets you hit the right notes. You can have different scales in the same key. They all sound different so there's no right answer here. Choose the one you like best.

There are lots of ways to use minor scales (obviously), and to make informed choices between these options would require theory, the thing that you would rather not deal with, so...
chromatic - just to help what's there.
...but, by all means experiment with these options
Edit: ...and what foxAsteria said.

OK, let me clarify a bit further here.
Maybe I should have said this at the beginning.
I have purchased and downloaded the song 'A Sky Full of Stars' made famous by Coldplay and I am simply singing along to the music.
So, I am not creating a song of my own here...
So, the website allows me to choose what key I would like the song to be in. I tried playing it in several different keys and settled on C#m.
Now, I simply want to go into WAVES Tune Real-Time and be sure I set the key in that plugin to match the key of the song, that's it! Nothing more complicated than that ......
So now, I hope this help clarify what I am doing and I will remain hopeful that a simple answer is at hand....
For those people who would say, "It depends on what your trying to do" I say that the ONLY thing I want to do is sing along to the song as written.

Use chromatic.
Otherwise you'll need to learn a couple of things about music theory.
