Default would this transfer midi indormation?

would this work with vsts and midi.....to trigger drums for example? does it need to say midi in description? Or all of these type things work?

It looks to be just a switch. The kind of thing you'd may be use as a sustain pedal for a keyboard. No midi involved I don't think.

i see....i'm looking for any cheap foot controller like this that would actually trigger midi drums

If you feel like a spot of DIY it might be worth looking at the Teensy ( https://www.pjrc.com/teensy/td_midi.html )

Or, working in Reaper, you could just kick a (cheap) microphone and use JS: Audio To MIDI Drum Trigger.

If you don't want to kick a microphone - maybe wire up a piezo
